We get asked lots of questions about our services so we hope the following will be helpful.

Q: Do I need to provide anything with my ironing? 
A: No – hangers and plastic garment coverings are supplied just let us know what you would like hanging and what you would like folding to make your putting away easier.

Q: How many dry shirts do you get to a kilo? 
A: It’s not an exact science because weights of materials can vary, but on average allow 2-3 shirts to 1lb. We will weigh your ironing on collection, so you’ll know the exact cost before we start.

Q: What shall I put my ironing in? 
A: We will provide a laundry bag for all our regular customers and will weigh when we collect, so you’ll know exactly how much it will cost before we start.

Q: What if it’s bad weather will everything get wet? 
A: This won’t happen as all garments which are hung and folded are protected by plastic garment covering.

Q: When and how do I pay? 
A: Payment is due on receipt of your ironing. We take cash, cheques (made payable to The Just Ironing Company) and BACS payments . Receipts will be given on request.

Q: What if I only want a one off service? 
A: That is no problem, we will provide your hangers and plastic garment covering and will use one of our baskets to transport any folded garments.

Q: Is there a minimum spend? 
A: Yes we have a £25 minimum spend per collection/delivery.

Q: Do you provide a service to commercial/business customers too?
A: Yes we also offer a fully laundered, ironing and dry cleaning service to businesses (not just private individuals) – like owners of holiday lets, AirBNB hosts, beauty salons etc.

Q. Do you pick up and deliver?
A. Yes, we will arrange a time slot of 60 minutes for collections and deliveries meaning your are not waiting for us. We aim to provide a consistently convenient service. Collection and delivery is free of charge.

Q: I work Monday – Friday 9-5 can I still have my ironing collected and delivered? 
A: Yes, our collection and delivery service operates daytime, evenings and weekends to suit and can call at your workplace or home (leaving in a safe/designated place). You would be amazed at the number of different places we collect and deliver our customers’ laundry and ironing!
